Compost

Description

Compost is made from yard debris and food scraps recycled by local composting facilitiess. After processing, it is screened to 1/2” and tested to meet US Compost Council and State Standards. Yard debris compost provides slow nutrient release into soils and works as a water infiltrator. Compost will meet or exceed state specifications, though may contain trace amounts of plastic from food waste recycling progam.

NW Compost

Description

A blend of yard/brush compost and Dairy Solid Compost. This mix provides both immediate and long term nutritional support to landscapes and vegetables. The dairy solids come from Whatcom County dairy farms.

Magic Mulch

Description

A mix of compost and bark. Dark apperance and rich in nutrional value for your soil.

Blower Soil

Description

Compost blend with native topsoil. Screened to 1/2″ This product is lighter in makeup than a traditional 3-way soil and allows it to be placed more effectively with blower trucks while still providing an excellent makeup for plants and lawns. Blowsoil is a bit fluffier than standard toposil so watering and rolling in place is recommended to ensure correct grade is established.

Top Soil

Description

Clean sand, sandy oam topsoil, and compost screened to 1/2″. Soil is manufactured to allow free draining characteristics, while still being rich in organic matter proving a great basis for both lawns and plants. Topsoil is heavier and has the sand component that you don’t see in the blower soil. If filling up depths of more than a few inches for new lawns we recommend this vs the blowsoil product.

Cedar Playchips

Description

Playground wood chips vary slightly by manufacturer, but meet International Playground Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA) Standards for sizing, type, and fall protection. Chips should be installed based on the fall protetcion requirements for your playground. If no depth is requested Windwood would recomend 12″ in all active areas.
