  • Must be punctual
  • Manage the care of truck and equipment
  • Lift, carry, drag 50 pounds
  • Have a good attitude about work and working as a team
  • Be drug free, random drug/alcohol testing will be enforced
  • Recognize problems and report to mechanic
  • Responsible for monitoring truck/equipment function and making sure job gets done efficiently
  • Fill out daily paperwork, consisting of truck tickets, and coding your material invoices to the office
  • Complete pre-trip/post trip inspection and report issues to mechanic
  • Driver is paid from key on to key off, including fuel time
  • Variety of work consisting of loading yourself with front end loader with correct material, driving to various sites and locations, working with the installer to empty the truck, applying the material where needed
  • Types of vehicles driven include dump trucks, transfer trucks, moving equipment on flatbeds, hauling tractor trailer for store deliveries, snow plowing
  • Driver will be home daily, no strapping loads, no tarps
  • Driver will mainly be driving and operating our blower truck

  • Class A CDL License
  • Speak and write in English

  • Landscape install experience preferred
  • Ability to take direction and follow plans
  • Ability to lift-up to 80lbs
  • Ability to use and operate standard landscaping tools and equipment safely and responsibly
  • Must have physical stamina to handle the work-load of an installation laborer having full range of mobility in upper and lower body
  • Must be a problem solver, hard-working, punctual, and have a willingness to learn new skills
  • Willing to work overtime
  • A clean driver’s license and be insurable on company’s insurance policy
  • A strong desire to learn and grow

  • Follow all instructions from supervisor(s) promptly and accurately
  • Communicate with supervisor in a timely and thorough manner
  • Willing to master the basic skills of a landscape and irrigation installation
  • Running of Powers tools and small equipment
  • Wheeling and lifting of materials
  • Install landscapes: digging and trenching, grading earth and raking materials, planting trees, shrubs and perennials, stone masonry, setting boulders, pavers, wood working, block walls, rock walls, soil, sod, lighting, etc.
  • Minor irrigation repair
  • Properly and safely operate equipment (power tools, trenchers, tractors, trucks)
  • Preparation and submittal of all daily work orders, day sheets, trip logs, as-builts, controller logs, inventory records, materials manifests, and any other related documents as assigned
  • Spreading fertilizers as directed
  • Spreading of bark and other landscape mulches
  • Prioritize safety with every task; ensure proper training and tools are available before completing any responsibility, as well as request support when needed
  • Perform other duties as required by the Crew Leader

This is a Full-Time Permanent Position
